Workplace Giving

Workplace giving is a simple and effective way that you can support your preferred charity or charities by making regular donations through your pay.  It’s an easy way to provide reliable and regular support to Diabetes Tasmania without the hassle.

Workplace giving is a voluntary programme that your employer may support.  Ask your payroll department to take $5 or more from each pay and forward it on to help support Tasmanians with diabetes.  It comes out of your pre-tax pay, which means you don’t even have to keep and claim your receipts.

According to the Federal Department for Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs, hundreds of Australian businesses already operate a workplace giving programme, helping to bring a strong sense of community into the workplace.

Through workplace giving, businesses can build reputation and profile in the community to become an ‘employer of choice’. Workplace giving is a simple way to enhance your business’ involvement in the community, with clear business, employee and community benefits.

Become a Hero for Tasmanians with Diabetes

Become a community hero for Diabetes Tasmania by taking up your own fundraising campaign.  It’s so easy to register your campaign here and ask your network of family, friends, colleagues and community groups to support you in your effort to minimise the negative impact of diabetes on Tasmania.

Click here to create your own online fundraising website that will help you to become a community hero.

If it’s a sausage sizzle, school fete, casual dress day, or ‘just because’ this online tool will make it easy to raise money for the cause and make it easy for your supporters to donate.
