Diabetes Tasmania has two offices, one based in Hobart and the other in Launceston. Our team of experienced health professionals includes diabetes educators and dietitians delivering diabetes education and support services throughout Tasmania.

 

We are the Tasmanian agent for the Commonwealth funded National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS). We also provide Diabetes Assist,  a service presented by Diabetes Tasmania, fully funded by the Tasmanian Government Department of Health and Human Services. Other activities include Rural Primary Health Service Clinics funded by GP South, awareness raising programs and a range of community based activities.

Diabetes Tasmania is the peak body in this state representing the 25,000 Tasmanians diagnosed with diabetes.
